The new hospital in Trebinje is being built by Hercgradnja d.o.o.is the largest health project in eastern Herzegovina, which is of great importance for this city and the entire region, and the plan is to complete the construction works by the beginning of April next year, said the senior director of Trebinje Hospital, Nedeljko Lambeta.

Lambeta pointed out that after the completion of the construction works, the equipment of the new hospital will begin, and that he expects that the new hospital will be completed and start working at the end of next year.

“The value of the project is 128 million KM, the new hospital will have 223 beds, it will cover 17,500 square meters, it will have everything that until now Trebinje and Herzegovina did not have, from the most modern magnet, diagnostics, six operating rooms, angio-room,” said Lambeta.

He expressed his satisfaction with the dynamics of the works, noting that the fecal and sewerage network has begun, and at the end of this year or the beginning of next year, the electrical installations will begin.

Lambeta explained that the facade of the building of the new hospital is now being put up, which will be completed by the end of September or in the first half of October, and the interior, that is, the ground floor, has already been finished.
